500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Netbutikken. ABV is 5.2%. Hazy pale yellow colour, large white head. Strong sweetish aroma of bananas and "banana split" toffee. Also distinct notes of cloves. The flavour is mid between sweet and dry, with some citrus, banana and cloves. Very moderate hops, short finish. A typical hefeweizen, might well buy again.

Pours a cloudy golden color with a big top of white head that dissolves slowly and leaves some sticky lacings on the glass.
Aroma is of banana, cloves, wheat malt and yeast. The taste is sweet and dry with notes of banana, bublegum and cloves. I sense some slight malt tones in the back. The finish is slightly dry and bitter. Decent aftertaste but a little watery in the finish.
Smooth and soft mouthfeel with a medium carbonation and a medium body.
A decent hefeweizen, but nothing very exciting about it.

It's quite drinkable, but also quite bland. Not much like a typical wheat beer. Slight kellerbier sourness. Nice mouthfeel.
Poured in a weizen glass -- poured a huge head, I had to let it settle and top-up. Almost seven months before sell-by date.

Classic hazy amber yellow colour, with thick foamy white head. Looks nice.
Banana bread on the nose as you would expect, peppery scent also.
Very refreshing, does not have the body of a regular weisse beer. Just not much going on. Still a good beer, just not great. One of those beers that would be great after a long walk or cycle that you can chuck down and order another.

Pile of white foam over cloudy dark gold. 4.25
Banana chips and dough starter. 4
Cracker, lemon peel, bready middle, touch of banana, then just fades away… 3.5
Light, round, smooth. 3.75
Dies at the end, and watery - not as creamy as it should be. Low on banana and clove, too. Dumbed down weiss. 3.75

A very simple, straightforward example of a German wheat beer. Nose is subdued compared to many of the top versions, just mild esters and spice, but very clean. Taste is similar, nothing bold or striking, but good clean flavor profile. Classic, but muted. The kind of beer you could sit back and drink all day, but falls short of being special or memorable.
