Pours a golden yellow with a finger of white foam. Head retention is good. Aroma is citrus, herbal, floral, and piney hops. Biscuity, bready malts add some balance to the nose. Flavor profile is citrus, piney, herbaly hops with biscuity, bready, wafery malts cleaning out the backend. Onset is semi-sweet, with lovely malt to curtail the initial sweetness, and subdue any hop bite. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a moderate crispness. Overall, crisp with freshing hops up front. The real kicker is the balance in malt at the back. While hops are the storyline, the malts counter to add some much desired depth.
