Yeah man, another beer added to the Next Glass database here. Also going to review it because I'm not a sociopath. I had this almost a year ago in Vegas, but traffic for these parts must be down, I wonder why? Lulz. Anyhoo, this was the second beer I had at the source. Knights opener was going on, they beat some ass that night.
Yellow pour, some chill haze, decent for style, thin 1/4" white head. The aroma hit those kolsch lager meets ale notes, light fruitiness, more bitterness than expected.
The taste was much the same, it had the normative characteristics of a kolsch in terms of yeast and grain, but the metallic bitterness was a touch more than expected. Had a just fine heft to it in the mouth feel, relatively crisp, but with a slightly breadier aspect.
This is like you never had it, but you did all the time. Its right down the middle in terms of myself having had worse and better kolsch beers. I guess this might hit better in warmer temps. I'd check it out again.
