Discovered this brewery on a happenstance. Searching for breweries in Savannah, I come across this weirdly named place in Richmond Hill. I decide to go, with my son and his wife in tow, to seek this place - located out of the way, but well worth the trip.
It's a new establishment, a very nice 12-tap offering they are soon planning to double and with some of the most unique and weird (as the name of the place) beer offerings I have ever come across. A pickle beer, a "fish boil" beer, and others. Surprisingly, they were all good.
The vibe was light on an off-night, but you could tell this place had it's locals that support it well. It was nice to have something local to where my son lives, that is this good, without having to schlep all the way to Savannah. I really wish these folks the best of luck.
(Now, about their weird name - it turns out it's rooted in Scandinavian - Viking maybe? - and it means invasion.) Skal!
