I enjoyed sipping this beer at the brewery while people petted our dog Ralphie. Poured from tap a dark golden brown color with a good beige head and great curtain lacing. Toffee and caramel smell and taste. Pleasantly complex flavors. Deep, rich earthy flavor. Superbly boozy with molasses and buttery pastry flavors, along with figs and dark raisins. Some sweet cherries. Sweet and comforting. Nice beer for a winter night but it was great on a Texas evening in June. I believe the brewery made this for their recent anniversary.
