Good decent beer from this brewery. Nothing special though. Purchased at Rosauer's in Ridgefield.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium reddish coppery amber with a thin white head that dissipates to patches with light lacing. Aroma of biscuit malt, raisins, mild dark dried fruit and light caramel. Flavor is biscuit malt, light grassy hops, raisins, hay, mild dry caramel and nuts; biscuity, grassy finish. Medium bodied with light creaminess. A solid amber ale that has a bit of English bitter character, as suggested on the can. Starts mostly biscuity with light fruit notes developing, but flavor tapers off into the finish, which does reveal more of the hop flavors, which are mostly continental Noble style hops. Distinctive in its British leanings, but a little light on flavor. A satisfactory, refreshing amber.

Firsties! No reviews or ratings, until now. Good looking can graphics, unreadable smear of a date code on the shoulder. Probably recent as we know the team at the store and coded their label as April.
Attractive pour, thick-ish head. Odors of caramel, bit of dried fruit and yeast. Medium dry, hint of malt sweetness. Light bitterness. A little thin in body, but still in balance. A good effort on their part.
