I rated this as a black IPA although it comes off as more of an English brown ale.
Poured from draft at the brewery into an IPA glass. Clear brown color with good head and curtain lacing. Weak fruity smell and a hint of roasted malt. This follows to taste. Not much of a hoppy bite, fairly malty like a brown ale. Also a bit thin for the style. Not a great black IPA, but not a terrible beer.
