I had this beer on-tap in an IPA glass at the brewery.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a lightish haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam. Not super hazy for a “hazy”.
Smell: kind of a light fruitiness but it also seems rather oxidized. This beer is on tap at the brewery so I have to assume it’s as fresh as it’s going to be. Needs improvement.
Taste: oxidized or maybe an autolyzed yeast situation with kind of a soy saucy thing going on. Some fruitiness from the hops but not enough to overcome this beer’s flaws.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: yeah, I can’t overlook the obvious problems with this beer. It’s not AWFUL, but man, I don’t think I would serve this.
