I had this beer on-tap at the brewery in a straight-sided glass.
Appearance: murky yellow-pink hue with a thin layer of white foam atop. I mean, it looks like a fruited wheat beer!
Smell: lightly tart and wheaty with a faint cherry aroma. Good composition, but a little more volume would be nice.
Taste: quite tart, with a good wheat character. One of the better base Berliner weissbiers I've had. Throw in a bit of cherry, and I'm totally into this!
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess for the style.
Overall: I love cherry, so you know I like this beer a lot. It's both well executed and tailored to my taste. Yum!
