This is our West Coast style Summer Dreams rendition. Our brewer loves the Elysian Space Dust IPA and made this one to mimic that higher ABV and smooth body. Hints of Pineapple, Coconut and Vanilla round this out with a load of hops! Chinook, Warrior, Amarillo, Cascade, Citra and Falconer's Flight go into the boil then topped off with Citra, Motueka and more FF to bring out the hoppiness. Sit back and sip on your Summer Dreams!

Had Summer Dreams at The Tap House, Chattanooga, on draft into pint tumbler.
Pours deep gold with clarity and 1-finger off-white head, with excellent retention, leaving a solid coating of lace down the glass. Big sweet stone fruit aromas off pour, which continue, revealing much coconut as warms. Begins very light-bodied and crisp, then sweet fruits arrive, soon turning into sweet fruit candy (vanilla influence?), with lots of coconut, carrying over some bready malt character, into a finish drying enough to kill the sweetness and save the beer.
An odd beer, which overdoes the fruit into gimmickry (coconut?) and fails to deliver the bite expected from a West Coast IPA, but is indeed a refreshing summer quaff.
