Locust Post Brewery

Rustic location, nice view of the surrounding countryside. Looks like barn from the outside, just off Scenic Hwy 40. Large interior has a nice homey feel, tables, large deck. Board games, snack menu. Friendly service, opened early for me . Average beer.

Out in the countryside on a hill with a view. They have a good amount of property and as of 2023, mentioned that there will be frisbee golf in the near future, to add to the beer drinking pleasure for some of the clientele. The immediate outdoors area is a sizable wooden deck with the view mentioned. Indoors it's spacious with polished concrete flooring, lacquered wooden picnic tables, and an area with couches and many board games, and the owner's sculptures made of scrapped metal items. They have regular pizza, without the wood fire, and it's good for good ole' basic pizza. Their beers are of the standard types, though they had Kölsch and Baltic Porter as well. Their beer is of basic standard quality.
