Fair foamy head with fair retention, touch of lacing, dark copper mostly clear

Nose very toasted deep reddish malt, a little chocolate pastry, a little roasted coffee, hint of fruity malt derived esters,

Taste more darker malts with roasted coffee notes, chocolate, and toasted sweet bread, little nutty, hint of caramel, mild biscuit and toasted sweet bread, just a hint of fruity esters, light bitterness, light herbal hops

Mouth is med bod, med to a bit higher frothy carb

Overall not bad, a bit like Irish red ale mixed with Irish stout, more black and tan like but enjoyable
