This was a tough one to rate on here - didn't come across as a true Witbier, even though the label says that this is an American Wheat Beer, and the brewery wasn't listed on here (nor do they have a website) but this one was with the same address. With that being said, this was something I found at the Lewis and Clark Mini Mart in Crofton, Nebraska when I was out that way a few months back.
I was looking for something new, different, and easy to quaff after a long day on the road and indeed, this fit that bill. Nothing was outstanding about this but everything was just sufficient enough to pass muster, starting with the hazy golden hue that let in just a bit of light. Enough head topped it off as it settled relatively quickly and left behind no lacing whatsoever. Wheat, light citrus, and champagne were in the nose as some tangerine, vanilla, cream, and faint hops came through on the palate, Enough body was here and the carbonation was barely present, as this was a true session beer as they come.
No date was to be found anywhere on the can and nothing on the label was indicative of what was into this or what was expected out of it. Sure, the artwork was lovely but I wish this had more of an impact on me, as it turned out to be something mindless and ubiquitous to relax with. If that's your thing, reach back for this while out on the heartland prairie...

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
