Pours black with a finger of khaki foam. A little oil sits atop. Aroma is potent - slamming notes of vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg - listed in descending order of potency. Roasty and toasty malts add support and structure. Lactose adds a dash of sugary sweetness. Flavor profile is right back to cinnamon and vanilla bean. Mild nutmeg. Roasty malts are firmly sprinkled throughout, with a dash of lactose sugar at the end. Mouth feel is medium-thick. Texture has a mild creaminess, but otherwise glassy. Overall potent aroma with a more mild flavor. Despite the more mild flavor (relative to aroma), this drinks rich.
