From the bottle, it pours a hazy amber with a small head, diminishing to a thin layer. Lacing. Pleasant malt and hop scent. Light flavor, with a touch of yeast (no surprise there) and overall delicious! Yum!

Thanks to blutt59 for sharing this bottle. We can always count on Bob to bring the hard-to-get German beers.
The beer pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma is heavy on the lighter, pilsner malt with some grassy hops mixed in. The beer smells fairly sweet overall.
The flavor is very heavy on the malt with a little bit of grass mixed in. Fairly straight forward but enjoyable.
Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

I caught a nice whiff of grassy hops when I popped the cap. Poured a short off-white head that quickly doubled in size. I expected the head to sink back into the murky apricot colored beer, but it held strong. Light malty aroma has just a hint of grain. A bit of lemon and raw grain in the flavor with a hint of carbonic acid acidity towards the finish. There isn't a lot of carbonation, but what is there makes it's presence known with a dose of fizz on the tongue. The body is one the weak side, and the flavors are barely perceptible. I'm all for a nice delicate lager, but this feels more like it's lacking all around. Their Dunkles is great, but I'm afraid I can't say the same for this beer.
