It is actually a Fränkisch Amber Lager. It is the Landkreisbier (District Beer) for 2025 and is brewed by Krug-Bräu in conjunction with Brandholz Brauerei (Melkendorf) und Schmitt Bräu (Scheßlitz).

From the half liter bottle, it pours a clear solidly amber color with a very nice just off-white head that slowly reduces. The nose gets a nice malty scent with some slight caramel notes. The mouth follows with a nice maltiness and pleasant feeling. Definitely a keeper!
