From the bottle, it pours a coppery reddish amber with a large light tan head that slowly diminishes as you watch. In the nose, it is it is light with caramel malts. In the mouth, it is malty with some caramel malts and a touch of others. Nice!

pours medium dark, clear brown. Nice head that dissipates to a small film.
Sulphur on the nose, slight vegetal wiff.
Flavour is better, some mild chocolate notes, brown bread. Drying finish, slight bitterness
Not bad, but not great.

Pours dark brown with red garnet tint when held to the light, capped by thin light tan head that holds well.
Nose is rather weak Munich malt with hint of bread crust and slight chocolate notes.
Flavor is dominated by bread crust-like melanoidins and exhibits nutty qualities. Finish is medium-dry and clean, with mild nutty notes lingering into the aftertaste. Malt and hop-bitterness are in balance, albeit the beer remains leaned towards the malty side. Carbonation is soft and the body nearly medium.
In short, somewhat bland Munich Dunkel that troubled me to pick up individual flavors/aromas. (500 ml, BB date 03-18-2012, into tulip.)
