My 1st Xul & it's a solid, well balanced 2x NE kinda ipa w/good mouthfeel; thick haze; medium hoppiness; a citrusy/fruity/juicy/orangey flavor & a clean, quick-fading finish. Very smooth fooler of an 8.3%er & dangerously quaffable!

16oz can into a pint glass. Canned 8/11/25, so a week old.

Pale watery yellow body. Small foamy white head leaves thick streaks of lacing. Aroma is mildly fruity. On tasting, a little sharp, quite sweet, fruity, warming. Mild dry hop herbal bitterness lasts into the finish.

Overall, decent beer. Beginning to appreciate these light bodied low end abv dipas in the hot weather. Just have to exercise a little restraint!

Pastry this, smoothie that, hazy this again; it seems like all things of substance are truly lost to history.

Speaking of which, Xul's imperial hazy IPA is indeed Lost to History as it settles into the glass with a dense lemon meringue appearance equipped with a soft white meringue of a froth. As a tropical scent of over ripe bananas and damp sod hit the nose, they come with a brighter citrus and berry perfume. Sweeter on the tongue, the taste of cookie dough, honeysuckle and cereal coat the tongue. With the hops growing on the middle palate, their flavors range from white grapefruit, under ripe orange and lemon offset the grain sweetness and blend into gooseberry, kiwi and pawpaw fruitiness. Trending herbal in its hop bitterness, peppery grasses, cedar and gin-like botanicals decorate the finish.

Full bodied, creamy and finishing with an aftertaste of cannabis and vanilla, the imperial hazy IPA rewrites the history of hoppy ale in bold fashion.
