A very special DDH Double IPA that was brewed with a heavy hand of oat malt then dry hopped at nearly 8 lbs per bbl of Citra, Nelson, and Peacharine.

A - Opaque orange gold with thin creamy lacing.

S - Juicy citrus and peach.

T - Citrus, peach, nectarine, a little bit of berry, and tropical fruit while ending primarily on the sweeter side with a little bit of underlying spicy bitterness. There's a slight bit of oat malt base.

M - Pillowy soft and chewy (like every New England style IPA) and ends on the wetter side for a second or two before drying off the back of the tongue.

O - Solid.

Dated 01/05/26 LEVIATHAN, into an Ethereal Brewing tulip.

Pours a hazy light orange with perfectly creamy foam, opaque and very appealing. Aroma is citrus and nectarine, a little dankness but very juicy. Flavor is bright green hoppiness as well as tons of orange and nectarine juice. Very smooth, quite creamy with a little vanilla, but just pulpy delicious juice. I get a lot of the Peacharine character in the best way, and the Citra and Nelson are very juicy and not too funky or bitter as well. Finish has a lot of great sweet oat character as well and it ends nicely sugary. As it warms I get white grape and a little funk, as well as catty dankness. Feel is good, very dense and thick. Higher body but it helps out a lot, and the hop flavors shine with little disruption.

Xul is onto something with these IPAs. This one was better on draft, where it was completely exceptional, but canned it's still really really good. Definitely holds its own with the big boys.
