Pours a dark reddish/brown with a small tan head. Aroma is malt, citrus, some spiciness & dried fruit. Taste is similar to aroma with a slight lemon from the (aged) hops. Not great even if it were fresh I believe. No date, but 7-8 years old.

Pours clear and deep red with a moderate tan head with minimal retention. A couple of spots of lacing. The aroma is malt-forward, sweet with just a hint of spice. The taste is a disappointment. There is a decent malty flavor but there isn't much else to give it depth and there is also a metallic note to it that is unpleasant. The body is light and steadily carbonated.

Pours a murky dark orange-brown with a foamy khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Thin streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Tiny particles of sediment are seen suspended in the beer after the pour. Smell is of malt, caramel, fruit, and slight rye aromas. Taste is much the same with caramel, fruit, and earth flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that is quite caramel and fruit forward, with very subtle rye and zero caraway seed aspects that I can discern.
