flight at the brewery. Pours clear gold extra pale yellow with a white head and very light lacing. Very light hops smells. Some hops bite in the flavor but understated and one dimensional. Watery mouthfeel. It’s hard to make a good pils and this one doesn’t gett all the way there.

Appearance - hazy straw colored body with white head
Smell - lemon peel, herbs
Taste - lemon peel, biscuit, basil
Mouthfeel - medium bodied, medium carbonation, crisp upfront, lemon peel and herbaceous in the finish
Overall - this is a decent iteration of a pilsner, crisp, refreshing and satisfying. Worthy of a try.

Pours golden straw yielding a whip head, very inviting. Aroma is sweet, taste is refreshingly mild crisp, clean, muted German hop presence. It’s tasty and goes down quickly. Creamy feel for a Pils. Prolly good for all seasons!

Poured from a 16 oz can dated 06/26/24 to a Pils glass at fridge temp.
The body is a clear straw color with nucleation bubbles rising continuously. A pure white very aggressive head forms and inhibits a full can pour in one shot. This beautiful head laces in rings.
The aroma is sweet and slightly hoppy.
The flavor is clean and hoppy with a little less pepper bite than the style suggests. The finish is pleasantly dry.
The mouthfeel light and slightly oily.
A nice German Pils, clean and simple but not amazing.

A: crystal clear; medium gold in color; finger finely pored white head that receded to a wispy cap with a moderate, tight collar; nice lacing;
S: virtually no aroma; what's there is light malt
T: not a lot of flavor, but definitely more noticeable than the aroma; there's a nice balance between malt and hops, but toward the end, it's floral, almost soapy; finish is mild to moderately bitter;
M: light to medium bodied; moderate carbonation; moderately dry finish;
O: it looked nice in the glass;

Meh, I wouldn't get it again. There are much better pilsners out there. Tastes like a "slightly better" Budweiser.
