Deep amber colour, very malty smell with very slight carbonation. Tastes malty with a slightly resinous mouthfeel and a very tiny hint of metallic taste. Overall a lovely German lager.

Served cool from 500ml flip-top bottle into willi becker.
L) Very deep amber colour, clear, fluffy yellow-white head.
S) Deep malty odour, slight raisiny, hints of something else. Pretty unusual for a German lager, smells very apetising.
T) Deep slightly roasted malt flavour, like a dunkel. No hop bitterness, as is the style. Very weak hint of metallic taste right at the end.
F) Very easy drinking, mild carbonation, no nasty aftertastes.
O) Very good dunkel that isn't that dark! Highly recommended to dunkel fans.
