Loco Patrõn Mexican Brewery

Big sports bar spilling our onto even bigger patios through the open walls. Myriad TVs with sports and lots of bar stool seating at tall tables. Seat yourself, friendly service. Eight Mexican-inspired beers of their own and several more Latin American ones plus the usual light industrial brews. The Loco Patrõn beer was drinkable except for the DIPA. Really large menu of Mexican food of every description, slightly more interesting than the usual. Food was not bad, tried different several tacos and a spinach enchilada. Location in the middle of Old Town on the main through avenue.

Sprawling hacienda like building on the north side of town with multiple dining areas both indoor, semi-indoor, and patio. Odd four sided bar somewhat in the center part inside, part out. Tiny brewhouse in glass sealed room in the center of everything. 6 house beer, and plenty of guest brews, heavy on the MBC. I did not try the food, although it looked pretty good.

Loco Brewery's location is convenient and although they only offered 5 house-brewed beers when we visited we were surprised by how good they were. The food menu is huge and has Mexican and Southwest-inspired selections, a few include beer as an ingredient. This is a big sports bar-style hangout joint where you can drink a decent craft beer and chow on upgraded bar food.
