Märzen is a glorious style of lager which reaches back to a time where brewing was only done in the colder months. The finest beers were produced at the end of the season in March, and lagered through the summer, coming out of hibernation in time for Oktoberfest. Paying homage to these seasonal brews, our Märzen is a strong, malt forward amber lager, which is complex and satisfying.

L: Clear, dark amber colour with a thick, off-white head that collapses slowly and leaves spotty lacing.
S: Apple juice, toffee.
T: More toffee, caramel, a hint of orange, some toasty notes. Bitterness is low to medium but doesn’t build.
F: Medium body, low carbonation and a slick that coats the mouth.
O: Moreish and easy-drinking malt-forward lager. Good stuff.
