NOVEMBER 2023. Bottle 33 cl (4,50€).
On the nose the smell of malt (lightly toasted, bready) and more herbaceous and citrus aromas of hops.
Poured is a deep blonde colour, slightly amber but more golden than red, with foam that is not too abundant but still soft and doesn't disappear on its own.
In the mouth the first impact is dominated by a malty taste (taste of bread, a light toasted nuance and hints of walnuts and almonds) which is quickly followed by a more herbaceous and citrusy taste which brings the beer to a dry and clean finish.
Perfect carbonation that makes drinking light and fresh.
Not very faithful to the original German style (in fact it is called "American Altbier")... but pleasant to drink.
