Pours a completely opaque dark orange color. Thick four finger off-white head forms on the beer, lingers momentarily, then dissipates.
Aroma has notes of strawberry, orange, dried grass, pine, with a certain sweetness to it not unexpected in a Triple IPA.
Taste follows the nose with notes of strawberry, orange, mango, dried grass, pine, pine needles, again with a certain sweetness to it. Its 8.5% but it drinks hotter than that - there is a distinct alcohol warmth on the back end. Light bitterness on the finish.
Feel is rather heady bodied, but not out of line for what I expect from a Triple IPA, thick, moderate carbonation.
Overall this is a very well done triple IPA. Its not overly sweet, its pretty drinkable, and its tasty. If you like triple IPAs, this is a great one to try.
