16oz can, adhesive label. No dating information found.
Hazy, pale gold colored body. One thick finger of white head, and this slowly recedes to a pillowy cap. Leaves behind some wider rings of lacing.
Aroma of orange, lemon, melon, pineapple, and pine.
Taste is hard candy sweet. Flavors of lemon, berry, apricot, orange, and late arriving pine resin. Aftertaste stays semi-sweet and with the pine resin.
Medium mouthfeel. Low bitterness. Very good carbonation.
Smells and tastes like the beer in the can has some aging going on. Fruity but not real distinct flavors.

Appearance: Pours a completely hazy (15% clarity) medium orange color with a strong white head. SRM 8. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of orange, bright apricot, sweet, lemon, with some citrus, pine and berries underneath. (4.00)
Flavor: Strong flavors of orange, tangerine, apricot, with some resinous, pine, tangerine, and berries underneath. Resinous earthy with some pine off the end. (4.00)
Feel: Medium bodied, strong, carbonation, finishes earthy with a bite. (4.00)
Compared to Hop Butcher Best Buds 1/25: Pours darker, milder aromas. More tangerine, apricot, resinous pine. Less lime, green melon, berry and flower. More of a bite.
Overall: First try at Hidden Hand from Chicagoland. Seems like they have some promise in the IPA game. This was more of that "hazy west-coast IPA" style. Pretty good stuff and I'd like to see more from them. (Rating: 4.00)
