Mexican Lager
In 1893, a small family-owned cervezeria from Monterrey claimed first prize in the Chicago and Paris world fairs with a new style of lager, cerveza clara. Aged in fresh Missouri oak for six weeks, this crisp lager with flaked corn and a twist of lime pays homage to the brewing heritage of Mexico and to the rotulos which help its bars, restaurants, and shops advertise and sell this iconic style.
