fun new spot in a part of the country that has more breweries than i think people realize, i discover a couple of new ones every time i am up this way, and the general quality is quite high. the are in kind of a strange location off the highway, but the space is absolutely gorgeous and sort of reminds me more of a colorado ski town vibe than what others are doing in the spokane area, high ceilings, open air with some garage doors open, a breezy patio, even a lofted seating area above the bar, tons of taps for a new spot, neat art, a view to the tanks in the back, mellow vibes, very low key on a weekday evening when i was in, i hope they get busier for their sake! i believe this is a family business too. i was impressed with the selection, a really diverse menu with all kinds of choices. i had a honey and vanilla cream ale that i liked a lot and their black rye ipa which tasted like a clone of the old firestone walker gem wookey jack, a very high compliment indeed! wished i had time for more, but will be back for sure. the dude was real friendly, the energy was good, and the beer list was interesting. slightly classier feel here than the typical taproom, well worth visiting when you are in the area!
