There seem to be a number of beers named Vermont Strong", produced by a number of different Vermont breweries. This one is from Two Heroes brewery, on South Hero Island on Lake Champlain. The can boats a "wet hop" flag, and it apparently uses fresh Nugget hops from Champlain Valley Hops.
Light gold pour with small but persistent head. Hazy but not completely opaque. Smells of fresh wort. Taste follows - plenty of sweetness to start, before the hops make themselves known on the swallow.
