One of my first beers at this new brewery. Absolutely classic example of the Brown ale. It was served from tap at the brewery into a plastic cup.
Even though in a plastic cup, the head was beautiful on the dark brown body with excellent curtain lacing. Wonderful earthy smell and taste. Pumpernickel toast, nice roast d malt flavor. I have a feeling this will be one of my standards at this brewery!
