This beer is named for one of the traditions associated with Texas A&M University of dunking your class ring in a pitcher of beer and drinking the beer to retrieve your ring.
This would be a great beer to observe this tradition. It is an excellent dunkel, perhaps the best I have had. This brewery is excelling at lagers.
I have had this beer several times over the last couple weeks and it has aged well. Poured from tap into a plastic cup. Clear dark brown color with good head and lacing. Earthy chocolate smell and taste. Delicious woodsy sharpness. Pleasant hint of sweet caramel. Smooth full feel. Excellent beer.
