Poured from can into tulip glass. It is dark ruby in color with a modest ecru-colored cap and lacing. The smell is mostly bready malt with a whiff of caramel and spice. It has a nice flavor: brown bread, nuts, and a hint of caramel. It is not overly sweet but has a good depth of flavor. The mouth feel is lite and crisp with pleasant carbonation, and for a Lager the 6.5% ABV gives it good substance. It is a tasty, easy-drinking beer. I enjoyed it and would definitely drink it again.
