Picked up a crowler of this at the brewery during a recent visit. Canned on 7/9/21. Poured cold into my snifter.
The beer pours a black coffee color with no light passing through my glass. A creamy beige head of 1 cm foams up and recedes slightly to a sturdy edge layer and large wispy island in my glass. I get dense lattice as I swirl the beer.
Aroma is maple syrup and roasted malts and black coffee. A pretty nice mix and not overly sweet nor overly coffee. No hint of the ABV nor any hop character here.
First sip reveals a medium body with very fine and gentle carbonation. Generally soft mouthfeel all around and fairly easy drinking for a bigger stout.
Flavor is roasted malt, black coffee up front, with a bit of sweet brown sugar and some maple syrup in the middle. THe finish is drying and roast malt through and through. The roasted notes are a little bitey and linger after the swallow, but no warming nor peppery bite of booze anywhere and the hops dont show up here either.
A nice breakfast stout that uses its adjunct more subtly than many other examples of the style. I enjoy this brew and would drink it again when at the brewery.

enjoyed on tap served chilled in a willybecker at the brewpub

The color is dark brown with translucent clarity and beige head with fine bead, retention is good

The smell is pleasantly sweet with a mix of roasted grain, maple and cinnamon in the nose mild malt roasted scent like coffee is present

The smell leads to a feel that has full malt body with sweetness on the tip of the tongue and a roasted dry texture mid palate with moderate sweetness up front shifting to roasted and dry texture in finish with slight alcohol warmingvwith spice

This is a sweet stout, no doubt about that but wait...it is a meal in a glass! specifically the meal to end a fast? ok maybe not, but it has ingredients you may consume in the morning like coffee and maple syrup with gentle cinnamon notes to allude to french toast with the roasted malt support that makes it a stout undeniably. I sipped and savored layers of malt with adjunct yet was drawn back for more to experience the complexity in later sips as it warmed I like the fact it does not seem cloying or overly sweet with toasted grain flavor as potent as the maple coffee or cinnamon in the flavor profile.

To call this an adjunct stout does not really do it justice since the base is substantial and yet the beauty of a coffee and maple stout with cinnamon under 10% abv may be lost on some these days...I for one enjoyed it for what it is, a quality beer, solid and well made
