A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a two finger high light tan colored head that gradually died down and consistently left a short head covering the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of yeast are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of dark malts and ancho peppers, the latter of which contribute a moderate amount of spiciness that becomes stronger in the finish and lingers through the finish. Hints of sweetness are also perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate to high amount of carbonation. The anchor peppers tingle your tongue a bit.
O: The taste of this beer is well balanced and has a nice amount of pepper flavors that isn't overpowering. There's enough peppers without the associated heat.
