Aroma is surprisingly strong on whiskey considering it was only in the barrels for 3 months. I get a fair amount of vanilla on the palate at first, followed by the whiskey and characteristic maltiness of a brown ale.

From an undated cork and caged bottle. Pours a clear brown into a Big aLICe tulip. Whiskey aroma is strong and smells amazing. I'm expecting a big booze bomb, but the flavor is surprisingly light and delicate; the brown ale malts are up front with only a hint of whiskey flavor on the finish. Absolutely delicious.
