This pours a cloudy orange yellow color with a 2 finger thick foamy off white head that faded slowly and left decent spotty lacing. Smells like a glass of grapefruit juice with orange peels floating in it. Tastes like a mimosa, with orange juice, champagne, grapefruit, lemon zest, tangerine, floral notes, biscuit and a sharpe citrus bitterness as it fades.

Orange you glad they brewed this? I am, even though this was the first beer that I had from Big aLICe. I work right near there and have been to LIC a bunch of times but it's rare that I've spotted their cans in trades or in line at Other Half. Regardless of their under-the-radar status, I really enjoyed this and how juicy it was from the get-go!
This had a orange hue to the pour, as was expected, with plenty of foamy head to top it off. Lots of blood orange in the nose along with soft orange blossom honey and a bit of grapefruit. The taste was wonderful as well with this beer being incredibly smooth the whole way through. Sweet and easygoing and with basic bread for body, there were hints of perfume and botanicals in this with lots of citrus slickness left on the palate once this went down.
The alcohol in this was exceptionally well-hidden and there were underlying hints of dankness in the aftertaste as the grapefruit emerged a bit more, along with some garlic, scallions, and mild dank hops. Sure, this beer was one-dimensional but it showcased the fruit wonderfully and was so easygoing, to the point where I felt like I was back in Florida again. No date on the bottom of this can but it's a shame that I can't get this fresh, as I'd love to give it another go!
