Pours a deep dark brown color. Lots of chocolate and roasted malts but not a lot else going on. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Overall an ok stout.

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a quarter finger high dark tan head that quickly fizzed away, leaving not a bubble on the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of chocolate and chili peppers are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of chili peppers along with hints of chocolate—the chili peppers linger into the finish along with a moderate amount of spiciness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a low to moderate amount of carbonation. The chili peppers lend heat to the mouthfeel—particularly in the finish—which becomes stronger as the beer warms up.
O: This beer is particularly hot and spicy from the chili peppers, particularly after it warms up.
Serving type: can

A: Dark brown with reddish cinnamon for highlights. All the head dissipates quickly, so it just looks like a flat cola.
S: Warm and welcoming. Almond tree bark with a split second of fruitiness...rum banana comes to mind.
M: Starts with a spicy tingle on the lips. Smooth, med-full body with a grainy feel. Too much carb to feel any richness.
T: Less chocolate cake and more of a brownie biscuit. Sweet caramel with a hint of smoke; vanilla. Spicy nut mix like candied pepitas toasted in jalapeno oil.
