A: The beer is slightly hazy dark copper in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that quickly died down and left a thin collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of toasted malts and rye are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the rye malts are a little stronger and also contribute some spicy flavors. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels a bit shy of being medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: You can definitely get the aromas and flavors of rye malt in this lager, but the rye isn't overpowering and isn't that spicy.
