Not too sour. Not too carbonated. Smells like melon, almost exactly like melon. Faint dank scents come through.
Looks like chardonnay wine. Pale with a nice rocky head.
Slight tingle on my tongue. It is acidic, but not as acidic or sour as I'd like from a sour ale. The name "Das Acid" doesn't really fit this brew..where is the sour? Not too many fruit flavors come through either. I get a taste very much like cereal. That is to say it is very malty, but the malt is almost exactly as if you had corn flakes or grape nuts. Very much like cereal, not enough hutzpa.
Initially, it tastes like Tajin and melon with lemon juice, then it's all cereal malt. That over maltiness makes this beer not that pleasant.
Minimal lacing, but the head was nice.
Beer was ok overall, but I wish it was more enjoyable.
