This years barrel-aged blend was a culmination of Buffalo Trace, Elijah Craig, and Cabernet barrels. Once the barrels were blended we conditioned this blackened liquid on Ugandan vanilla beans and mounds of coconut.

Appearance - the beer was a slick black color with tiny carbonation.
Smell - The nose was sweet with high levels of vanilla.
Taste - The profile was sweet, but not cloying. Vanilla, coconut, and marshmallow led the way. The profile had a dark chocolate backbone. The barrel notes left a little bit of sting put overall this was like a milkshake.
Mouthfeel - This wasa thick one. It really lingered in the mouth.
Overall - It made me think of a baby Handjee.
