A: The color is very deep amber, while the compact, medium-tall head is tan. Decent lacings.
S: Rich sweet malt. Bitter hops. Lots, and lots of dark dried fruits. Syrupy.
T: Very full sweet malty breadyness. Dark dried fruits, but also some ripe red apples and some pears. Some hay and nettles from the bitter hops.
M: Full body, low carbonation and a lovely sweet aftertaste that lingers for a rather long time, considering the style.
O: Nice and sweet. This is a nice example of Doppelbocks.
