Fills a double walled pint glass, with a foggy cranberry red glow. One finger of fluffy head is pastel pink and short lived. No lace is left behind, and there is no visible carbonation.

The aroma is very faint, with cranberries and an herbal spiciness.

The flavor is dry, with light tartness and faint sourness. Fruit is also faint, building with warmth to a light blend of cherry and currents. The finish is mild and lingering, with dried berries. All the flavor tones are remarkably subdued, however after significant warmth, and only in the last few sips, it does take on a light cherry Jolly Rancher flavor.

Light bodied and almost no perception of texture. Carbonation is light and fizzy, while the alcohol is very faint.

As a thirst quencher, this beer works. Everything is so mild that one hardly has any sensations with which to draw impressions. It is kind of like lightly flavored carbonated Gatorade. It is by no means a bad beer, just that is miles from what I had been expecting.
