Featuring flaked oats and malted corn from Murmuration malts, this beer is a light, easy drinker with a nice creamy note from the flaked oat addition.

On tap at Copper Leaf Brewing in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a clear golden yellow color, with a small head, and a lot of lacing.

This smells like corn, graininess, honey, and lightly biscuity malt.

This is a pretty good version of Rochester’s staple style, but I’d want it to be a little more crisp on the end and a little less sweet, overall. It’s got the nice sweet graininess and a bit of floral bitterness, but I’d want the pendulum shifted a little bit.

This is light bodied, clean, and pretty drinkable.

I’m almost always gonna order a cream ale if I see one on the menu. This is a decent enough but not top tier example.
