Drank from can. Poured into a snifter.
A: Body is dark brown with a light brown head, heading (pun intended) into a beige color.
S: The aroma is strong on lactose, milk chocolate, light vanilla tone, caramel.
T: The taste is on the sweet side with chocolate and lactose getting together to release a more balanced taste than a pastry stout. It's quite reasonable.
M: Body is medium. Carbonation is medium to low. Bitterness is low. Sweetness is medium.
O: For a milk stout, it's pretty reasonable but it doesn't go along with the other Core Range beers from Ophiussa.
