Collaboration with Hop Hooligans

Some creations are born not from necessity but from desire. Pecado is our newest 8% Cream Stout brewed in collaboration with our dear friends Hop Hooligans from Bucharest. Over the years, their fearless approach and boundless creativity have inspired us and this brew is the perfect expression of that shared spirit. Indulgence is at the heart of Pecado: golden caramel drapes the palate, coconut cream caresses with velvet softness, condensed milk lingers like a secret and Portuguese sea salt sharpens the edge of desire. Rich yet balanced, bold yet smooth, every sip feels like giving in to a delicious sin. This is Pecado. Temptation in a glass, crafted to seduce and brewed without compromise.

Copenhagen 15/12 2025. 44 cl can from The Beer Hive, Amagerbrogade, Kbh. S. Dark can with a weird drawing of a lady being haunted by some kind of red gremlin.

They ask me to shake the can hard before opening. I apparently did not shake hard enough as the thick beer was pretty difficult to pour. Pours opaque murky dark brown with a big dark beige head. Stable. Settles as a thick layer of foam completely obscuring the surface of the beer. It gets nasty when I start drinking with brown patches of gunk hanging onto the sides of the glass.

Aroma is medium intense and a bit dampened by the massive amount of thick foam. A sweet malty, pastry sweet odor mingling with salty notes. Sweet chocolate with a touch of liqueur. Brown sugar, caramel and toffee.

No carbonation. Super thick, creamy, viscous, fat, soft, smooth and yet a little sticky, flat texture. Almost like milkshake.

Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with boozy searing just underneath. Lingering. Finish is soft, sweet and sticky.

Probably the thickest beer I have ever tasted.
