Pours mostly clear amber golden, yellowish white head is pillowy and dissipates to lacing.
Aroma of fresh grapefruit zest and pine over some biscuity malts and floral notes.
Flavor is biscuit and cereal malts with piney and earthy hops and a wildflower honey sweetness. Good bitter finish.
Fuller body, tingly carbonation throughout.
Very nice west coast style throwback, some hints of a more contemporary IPA peaking through here and there, like in the malt profile and citrus forwardness. But nevertheless very drinkable and enjoyable. Always nice to have a more traditional IPA to come back to these days, and I would definitely come back to this one.
