Pours a murky dirty blonde with a pinky finger of white foam, spotted lacing. Nose is bright and well hopped: grass cuts through the lemon, grain, slight apple and white bread. Taste is way more hoppy though, now lemon, grass, sharp pine accents, cut through grainy white yeast, with background tones of grapefruit, orange, and pear, tastes like an ipa in disguise. Feel is hopped and light, has a hint of skunkiness on the grainy backbone.

No canning date that I can see, but probably within the last 8 weeks
Consumed 11/25/22
The perfect beer for the second half start of the US vs England World Cup game. I have gone through a few cans of this beer and it has become one of my favorite pilsners. I am so lucky to live in the city of Chicago and the US when it comes to beers. I have Dovetail as my go to for traditional German style beers and this is a wonderful example of an American spin on a beer. If it offends traditionalists, then they're doing a good job. The floral notes are way different than a regular Czech pils. I'm loving it. There's almost a funk. Like a bret funk! This is a grown up pilsner. If you drink Miller Lite and think this is the craft beer for you, you'll be unhappy and GOOD. The beer has a bit of body for a pilsner which is fine for me. I love the nose on it. I cannot wait to try hitting the brewery soon for the first time. Will definitely buy again.

2023: 4.25
Better than I remember, very crisp and dry with a nice malt base and light hop bitterness.
2022: 4.05
Pours a bright and saturated brassy gold tone, a finger of foam that settles quickly. Visible carb trails, no lacing.
Vague whiff of citrus, apple, and grains.
Taste is malty with some yeast character, earthy noble hop, and a slight bite. Leans closer to medium-bodied somehow. Ample carb, finishes dry and earthy. Overall not bad, though I prefer other local Pilsners.
