El Dorado, Citra & Galaxy hops.

Pours a hazy dirty straw color with a finger of head. The nose has citrus notes with a touch of pear. There is also a dank note in the background. The flavor is grainy with a surprisingly sour alcohol bite on the finish.

It doesn't excell at the first phase of this test. A pour from a pint can into a clear glass Imperial pint mug produces some starchy foam. It recedes quickly, but unlike too many others, it's rather even. This is an almost murky brew. It's the color of wet sand and it looks to be almost as dense. The foam settles to become a reasonable and enduring off-white head. Plenty of carbonation appears, too. The aroma is grainy, like a blend of whole grains and in the background, some hops. It drinks a little thinner than it looks and that's a good thing. The predominant taste actually is of whole grains. It seems like a blend of whole wheat, oats and maybe barley, buckwheat or spelt. This comes with a body that's rich and smooth. With the finish comes a noticeable hop bite that has both citrus and resinous aspects. The taste transition is excellent and enjoyable. A hint of the relatively high AVB only augments the overall. Eventually, the head disappears and there's no glass lacing. Overall, this is an exceptional Imperial Hazy IPA and recommended, especially to all that like a starchy body within their Imperial IPAs.

Canned on: ???

A - Pours a really hazy dark orange color with moderate bright white lacing

S - Orange and citrus.

T - Juicy orange, citrus, and melon from start to finish with nice lingering citrus and melon resin.

M - Big medium to full bodied with soft prickly carbonation on the tongue.

O - This is a really solid D-IPA and worth checking out from this new brewery.
