This starts out oh! so nice. At the crack opening of a pint can, fresh blueberry can be smelled. Into a clear glass liter mug it all went, without any head, nor lacing. This is a fruited kettle sour, so no failure of expectations there. It's more of a caramel color than blue, but it's bright and opaque, without being cloudy. In the vessel, the blueberry disappates a bit and a sourness presents itself more to the nose. This drinks as a tart berry sour, maybe only marginally detected as blueberry, specifically. It is nonetheless a pleasant fruited sour experience. As with many in this category, it's much more tart than sour, but that's a fine line not worth quibbling. As a sour berry brew, this has blueberry references with everything else in order. The body is just what's expected from this style. The ABV is sufficient and well hidden. If you like the style then there's nothing to dislike here.
